Look at the output of the Element.GetParameterValueByName, you probably have element that don’t have the parameter View Name

you are correct, so now i want to mitgate the situation, i tried opening the views:

but as you can see nothing opens!

is there a way around that?

Views collected this way will list also list some system views.

project browser for example is a view (in the API) and is therefore listed but does not have a View Name.
