We are looking at applications that can manage/generate datasheets as AIR (Asset Information Requirement) or EIR (execution Information Requirement).
We did not find anything suitable yet.
Did anybody build this him-herself, using Dynamo?
Did anybody find an application that is usefull?
Kind regards,
Willem
@willem.creffierKCWFB ,
what do you mean with “datasheets” schedules on sheets?
is it about LOI filling ?
KR
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
It is not about the information you find in schedules, but .e.g.
-the Level of detail in the different phases in Design , Execution and Maintenance.
-the identification of families according to different systems of classifications.
-IFC property sets.
-The information of coding for Quantity take off
-Family Type names
-Disciplines (Arch, stab, MEP)
-parameters to assign metadata
-Planning ID’s
-All kind of design criteria…
maybe it can be made using the link with Power BI, using Dynamo to sort the information if necessary.
maybe this application exists “ready on the shelf”?
Kind regards,
Willem
@willem.creffierKCWFB ,
i had a project where dynamo was checking this stuff with content liraries and PowerBI.
- naming conventions
- model style
- scriptmanagement

Hi @Draxl_Andreas ,
das möchte ich mir gerne anschauen.
I didn’t find the time yet to go in the Power-BI rabbit hole, but I have the software installed, and it’s high on the priority list.
If you are willing to share, I would like to have a look.
Kind regards,
Willem
Hi @Draxl_Andreas
dieser Flachländer hat eine Frage.
please do not feel obliged to tell me what is in the secret sauce.
I would appreciate your feedback on the following topic.
I made a graph to assign Keynotes to Cable trays & fittings.
It does contains some “little schedules”, e.g. for a Dictionary.
I am wondering where to manage these…Acces? A big Excel document, a dedicated application for databases, a loose collection of .csv files in some folder?
Somewhere Dynamo finds it, the application that makes the “Bauvorgaben”, and the EIR.
Möchten Sie Ihre Strategie teilen wollen, würde ich das sehr begrüßen.
MFG,
Willem
@willem.creffierKCWFB ,
i am testing .json files they are also well for storing dictionary types…
to have a strategy is a nice word… i am always open to good smart workflows

Hi @Draxl_Andreas ,
nice to hear from you.
I will take it to our IT department.
this is my testcase; a graph that applies Keynotes to Cable Trays & Cable fittings simultaneously.
I thought it was a good case, as there a many combinations, it applies to both system & loadable families.
The data goes through Dictionaries and Key schedules which I would like to store in central location.
Keynote samenstellen met dictionary 06.dyn (193.4 KB)
Kind regards,

The latest check (R2022) i did on Keynote Tagging is that there is no Node that can place these on the View.
I don’t know if that has changed.
Ow, and have you tried exporting to ODBC?
