How to make the 90 degree leader line point to the middle of the tag

Hi guys. This is my first time here. I wonder if someone can help modify a dynamo routine so that the leader will automatically go to the middle of the tag, instead of to the left side. This one has the option to align the leader two ways. It’s only for electrical fixture tags at the moment. Thank you.

Ok thank you, so first, try to change the tag text position by reference planes in tag editor.

Okay, I see where you are going. I was hoping that we’d be able to determine the amount of characters in a tag and choose the midpoint of that tag length to locate the leader point. If that’s not possible, then I will just have to deal with manually dragging and place the tag in the mid point of the tags for now.
