How to create family parameters for the family of a selected element

Hello everyone,

as the title says, I’d like to create a script to add a list of parameters to the family of a selected element (chosen via the Select Model Elements node).

Is it even possible?

Yeah, this is possible. The Orchid Package has some nodes to open, edit and save documents in the background.

But how can i open the FamilyDocument without being in the family editor?

Using the node Document.BackgroundOpen from the Orchid Package. Check out these pages for further reading:
