Are you looking to save as to rvt template your revit file? Could you be more specific here…

I would like to set up a a view template using dynamo.
The template doesnt have to be saved.

how about duplicate an existing view template and modify it?

You can duplicate a view template with Duplicate Element from Data-Shapes.
