Hot Gear package help

So starting playing around with the Hot Gear package and was having trouble trying to figure out how these nodes input the data. SO, my understanding is this will look at a Shared Parameter file and then add selected parameters to a family and looks like it will save that family out to a new location.

Just a little confused as to how the node saves out that new family. Also does not appear to save the Parameters I have selected to the family. Just trying with one of the OOTB families for right now.

Any help appreciated.

I am also confused by the results the node gives me. Missing something here, just not sure what.

I used the Get Item at Index node as I found out the Shared Parameters were at those indices, and trying to get those added as Type Parameters to the family.
