Getting an error when trying to add dimensions to columns

I want to add dimensions between my columns, but I’m getting an error message that says the columns are not geometric.

You’ll need to create a line in dynamo that’s perpendicular to the direction of the elements you’re dimensioning and feed that line into the dimension node.
