I came across another scenario that I think will be fairly common. Often times we hand off projects to another office or a consultant. The new project team likely will not have the project files located at the same path as the original location. We need a way to re-path the hyperlinks and reference documents attached as object extended data in Civil 3D so they work for the new project file location.
If we had a “Get hyperlink” node and a “Get reference docs” node, we could quickly edit those paths for the new project location.
Input would be the list of objects. Output would be the paths. From there, the paths can be edited in Dynamo and reapplied to the objects.
