Floor Plan View Title with Floor Areas by Level

Hi All,

Im am currently setting up a Revit template for the company I work for in Ireland. I have hit upon a few issues in getting certian things to look the way we normally show them on drawings.
Our floor plan view titles is one of them. Our floor plan view titles are composed thusly
GROUND FLOOR PLAN
SCALE 1:50
GROUND FLOOR AREA = 00.00m2
FIRST FLOOR AREA = 00.00m2
TOTAL FLOOR AREA = 00.00m2
I would like to build a view title in Dynamo that extracts the floor area of each level and relates it to the floor plan view title. Is it possible to do so or am I wasting my time trying?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jonny

Hi, here is my suggestion :

  • First you extract the data you need to add in your title
  • Then you turn it into a string using the "String from object node
  • mix them together to finally obtain the exact title you want.

I enclosed an example, please have a look
Cheers
