Familyinstance by face placement issue

Hi there,

i have a issue with familyinstance by face node.

I place the families below using the node.
first blue line is plane y Axis from the circle.
second blue line is plane x Axis from the circle.
third one is curve normal at the point in pic.

when i set location to 0 degree, the profile rotate to wrong place not associated with any other line in the pic.

if anyone knows the issue could you explain for me?

Why don’t you use adaptive component ? it’s so flexible family type to deal with issues like this.

I see it’s a box girder section and adaptive component family is suitable for that kind of Revit modelling.
