Facing issues while giving bottom surface inputs from linked ceiling element

@Dimitar_Venkov, I am facing issues while giving input as bottom surface from linked model.

If I use importinstance.ByGeometry node it works fine but fixtures are hosted in that import instance. I need it to host on revit linked file.

i am not shure if you can host on a linked surface…

i would recoment to make workplane-based families… maybe there are other soltions for that…

when linked file get updated, you will also lose hosted elements, like dimensions.

Hello use bimorph it works for linkes surface and Will host the right way,here is what i mean my exemple is on wall…but same on ceiling…
