Rehosting The elements with linked model

Is there any way to rehost elements with a linked model or create a new element that hosts within the linked model? For example, placing lights on a ceiling that is part of the linked model. Any help or advice would be much appreciated

yeah there we cant host, but just insert without host

Hi Vijay…you can insert this way here, but we cant host i guess

but need to host. look like need to manually no way to automate.

i guess you have a ceiling as well, link or not , then we can host, but need a revit element…

and these are host based families we can place with out host.

have with linked file.

yeah then use that as host, and insert in that location from cad…with genius loci

did you Explode the Cad files here? how did you get the location?
