Error while convert sat geometry to solid "trim_with_edge_loops requires all curves to touch surface"

have a imported sat model exported from Solidworks. Try to put the geometry as solid on Dynamo but have and error: “Element.get_solids operation failed. trim_with_edge_loops requires all curves to touch surface” anyone experience this problem?

I have the same issue. It appears that this is due to splines in the geometry. Unless I’m wrong and it can be done, in which case I’m really interested in the solution.

Cheers…! Same problem…:stuck_out_tongue: :confounded:
did you find a way out…? even if I select the faces individually it returns null.

I did some experiments on the loft surface from Rhino and it works well. It looks like the surface modeled by Solidworks is the problem.

Thanks @glenncai ,
Even I had to clean up the Rhino model to make it work,
Also, since it was an surface area calculation exercise I calclulate the area directly in dynamo before importing to revit and give a parameter to revit element to hold the area value.

Was a long way around but works for me atleast.

Is there any solution for this problem in Revit Dynamo ?
