Hi! I’m trying to install Dynamo 2.1.0 and I’m running into some issues-- I’m on revit 2017 and I saw on https://dynamobim.org/download/ that i’d be able to get a downloadable version of it for R17. I clicked on the download button for sandbox and i got a zip file. I extracted it and then clicked DynamoSandbox.exe and it didn’t do anything. What can I do to get this installed? Thank you!!
Dynamo 2.1 is not compatible with versions of Revit before 2020. From Revit 2020 onwards the Dynamo/Revit relationship is much more tightly controlled. There is a chart which explains the version compatability: https://primer.dynamobim.org/08_Dynamo-for-Revit/8-1_The-Revit-Connection.html
(There has been a recent hotfix 2.0.3 which is available for Revit 2017-2019: https://dynamobim.org/dynamo-2-0-3-hotfix/)
