Hi!
I need help in writing a script that would be able to cut (and remove) all installations in the model below or above a given level or plane so that, depending on which side we want the remaining installations to be, they will be cut off at the intersection with the plane or level.
Unfortunately, I cannot find a similar solution, and the add-on that (I think) does something similar to what I am looking for is unfortunately for a newer version of Revit.

Does anyone have an idea how to get around this?

Hi @p.lewickiBD not sure but do you mean something hereā€¦for split i use genius loci and will work on ducts and pipesā€¦and from revit 2017 +

I also have a question: how can I change it so that it removes what is below the reference level?

Yes just connect parents instead children into list join
