Dynamo player is Grayed out , iknow its because of some problems in (C) partition , unfortunately my IT doesnt know which folder is controling the dynamo player , we tried open all permissions for my PC and it worked , so can someone help me how to track all folders that will allow dynamo player to open ?
Do you see Dynamo running in the task manager?
Maybe this post could help you or try looking at the folder:
C:\Users–youruser–\AppData\Local\dynamoplayer
I have seen the button being greyed out because your revit install did not fully install everything. I cannot remember how to sort it, but if you go to the below folder and look for dynamo player folder it will be empty.
This needs the correct files within to work.
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2025\AddIns
Change 2025 to the version in question
i dont have file in this path called dynamoplayer-2
Any solution?
Maybe it has a similar name, my folder is called “dynamoplater-7“
Try this:
In the address bar of windows explorer, type in %appdata%
Within this folder- you probably need permissions to the Dynamo folder
