Dynamo Not Opening, Addin Available within Revit

When I open Dynamo 1.0 from Revit 2015 or 2016, it doesn’t open.

The addin button will become greyed out and there is another open window with Revit called ‘Dynamo’ that is blank (if selected nothing happens).

I was just using dynamo this morning and yesterday, so I’m not sure whats up. I tried re-installing, but doesn’t work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try as mention below and see if it helps:

  • Completely Uninstall Dynamo all the version including the folder C:\Users\User name\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo.
  • Restart your system (PC)
  • Re-install Dynamo version 1.0.

This was the first step. I ended out recovering the \Roaming\Dynamo folder from my previous 1.0 version install that was working as the fresh install was becoming corrupted, also.
