How to make my dynamo geometry into solid on revit?
I used mirror to create the 3D geometry but only origin model is activated and rest looks like a glass when converted to revit file.?
Right now you’re only creating Dynamo geometry. To create something in Revit you need to use a method that would create a Revit object. What method you use would be determined by you and what you’re trying to accomplish. You can import the geometry as a DirectShape or create FamilyInstances if you have a family to place. It all depends on how you want the object(s) to function in Revit.
Thank you so much for your answer. I’m just trying to do my assignment which is to create a wall. I’ll place it inside a room. Which method do you think is better in this case?
Again, it depends on how you expect it to act in Revit. A Wall
is a specific element category and type and acts a specific way. You won’t be able to create that object as a Wall element, but if you don’t care about Wall functionality then that’s fine. If you just need the geometry and don’t need any specific Revit functionality from the object then a DirectShape is easiest. It will give you a dummy object that can’t be modified but will match exactly what you have in Dynamo.
