Dynamo and Adaptive Components

Its been established that Dynamo uses Nurbs Surfaces

Are adaptive components composed of Nurbs Curves and Nurbs Surfaces?

Dynamo’s geometry library can make meshes, solids, nurbs surfaces, nurbs curves, lines, etc…

Adaptive Components only directly exist in Revit - using Revit’s geometry engine. You can use Dynamo to control the creation of Adaptive components in revit or in some more complex workflows push different types of geometry into families from dynamo geometry but there is usually a conversion process that must occur between geometry engines.

Adaptive components are created within an environment similar to the conceptual massing environment. This is a nurbs based environment. Correct?
