I am trying to have Dynamo let me select a door, get the mark value of that door and apply it to a security device shared parameter called “ComponentID-SP”. Is this even possible? Seems very simple but I cannot figure it out. [Capture]

Find the doors in the linked file. Find the Security Devices in the host file. Determine the distance from all door points to all device points. The shortest distance for each door “should” be the correct device. Alternatively you could set a distance to filter by and review manually.
