Devices to Wall (Thermostats, Light Switches, Receptacles)

I am very new to Dynamo still. I am looking into ways to write a script that will place devices on the walls. I did find this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrrkkK1kAt0 that I thought was really useful but unfortunately part of the script that is being explained is cut off in the video. Would anyone know how this is made?
