Dynamo isnt picking up tags of linked elements? can anyone help ?

Hi @phil.sheridan,

You didn’t show your Dynamo graph.
You can use custom nodes of the Genius Loci package (SelectByCateOrType, SelectByCateOrTypeAndView and Get RevitSelection) to retrieve tags of linked elements.

Thanks - those 3 didn’t work but another one from Genius Loci “Select By Category in Document” did. There’s no obvious logic to what will work and what won’t when nodes from different sources with the same names (or very similar) and the same description give differing results (if any)

I’m glad you found a way but you probably have an old version of the Genius Loci package.
