I have gotten the request for making a script that can cut or eddit a revit model with a linked construction model so that they wont clash. I found a way on the internet to cut single elements with linked revit elements but than i got the idea of y not transform the geometry of the linked model to a void so it can cut all elements in the model that clash with it. is there a smart and easy way to transform linked revit models to a void family and cut all intersecting elements with it? this is what i have now:
The best way to coordinate openings (e.g., for ducts or pipes) when they are located within linked models is by using already loaded families. You can use the family’s location point to place these families directly. Conclass or Convoid offers the most efficient workflow for this, as it’s straightforward and easy to replicate.
