Custom Node Not Returning the right values

Must be missing something here.

I setup a custom node to filter a list of revit element by a parameter value. For some odd reason the output is different when I run values through the custom node vs the basic dynamo nodes. See attached images for the further explanation.

I’ll Solve my own here - I’m just not sure the why. I changed the ‘Input’ to not include the input type - see attached.

changing the input type affects the replication of the custom node.
