I’ve made a dynamo graph that creates materials based on an excel list.
Is there any way to put these created materials in a library? And if so, is there also a way to make categories in said library?

There is no api to work with library files, so no easy code to be had. You could try opening the library file directly (I believe they are a type of ole object) and editing them that way, but this is apt to break far more than it fixes. As an alternative you could try distributing the materials via a family, which was the method I used to get past this hurdle when I was practicing.
