Once again stuck with a problem: I have seen this question posted in the past, but no sufficient answer yet.
Creating a family instance from a solid and defining the origin of the family!
I have noticed that revit is creating the family instance and using the bounding box of the solid to put the origin of the family, for example like this:
My wish is to somehow place the origin of the family like the red cross (or any other location)
…and no, creating a family with the default origin and then translating the family accordingly in the revit project is NOT an option!
Any help, any tip would be much appreciated!
