Hi,
I am using nodes from CivilConnection and the RevitUtils.ExportIFC node to generate an IFC from a Civil 3D drawing that contains only solids. Then I link the generated IFC to Revit. The IFC is placed in the correct location and at the correct elevation but something is wrong with its rotation. The screenshots attached to the post show the correct rotation of the solid in Civil 3D and how the solid is rotated in Revit. The shared coordinates in Revit were set using the Shared Referenced Point generated from Civil 3D. I have verified that the shared coordinates are 100% correct. The post also includes the files with the solid from C3D the Revit project file with the shared coordinates set and the IFC generated via Dynamo in Revit. I use Civil and Revit 2025.
