Civil 3D to 3D DWFx Export – Surface Quality and Property Data Issue

Good morning,

I am trying to export a Civil 3D model to 3D DWFx. However, after exporting, the surfaces do not appear as smooth and sharp as they do in the original Civil 3D model or in Navisworks NWC format. Some geometry appears distorted or loses its original shape.

I also need the exported model to retain the Civil 3D object properties and data.

Is there a recommended export setting or workflow that can:

Maintain the original surface and solid geometry quality
Prevent surfaces from becoming distorted or faceted
Retain the Civil 3D object properties
Produce a model similar in quality to the NWC export

Would another format, such as IFC, NWC, or FBX, be more suitable than 3D DWFx for this purpose?

Any advice or suggested workflow would be greatly appreciated.
