I am currently working on a project that combines iterative design and seismic analysis to optamise a simple steel structure in an area prone to earthquakes. To do this I am developing a Dynamo graph, connecting to both Revit and Robot Structural Analysis (RSA). Currently my graph is able to generate a model in an RSA file where I can apply seismic loading.
I have seen people automate running RSA analysis and extracing results through Dynamo. However, I am unable to automate this process for seismic analysis, with all nodes I have found only working with live, dead, snow and wind load types.
Is there any packages that would help with the automation of seismic analysis? Or a method to select the load cases from my RSA file, so then calculation can be done through Dynamo?
I would really appreciate any help or guiadance.
