I’m currently working with a shared model in Autodesk Revit, and I’ve encountered an issue that I can’t seem to resolve. While working on a door family, I believe I may have inadvertently made a mistake with the family or its insertion into the model. After inserting the door family, I started experiencing problems, even after deleting the door family from the model.
The primary issue is that I can no longer access the material properties — neither from the properties panel nor from the Material tool in the tool table. Additionally, when I try to use the Purge tool, Revit becomes unresponsive and freezes.
I’ve tried deleting the door family and troubleshooting the model, but the issue persists. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this problem or any steps I might have overlooked? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
