Hi Konrad

How are you?

My name is Haley Bueno, and I am new to Dynamo.

I have been trying routines just by reading the forums and what is available on the Internet.

I was going to post this in the DynamoBIM forum, but I did not know how to classify this discussion. Therefore, I am contacting you directly instead.

I have come across the node named above, which I tried to use, but, unfortunately, was not successful.

The image below shows the how I made the connection to extract the information desired.

Is there anything I am doing wrong when connecting the node? Do I need to specify a single element type or instance only?

Use a single element to feed into the node in question. You can use List.getItemAtIndex and feed it 0 to get first element from the list.

Sorry,

I can use Get BuiltIn Parameter Name even to the roofs?

Daniele,

I am not sure what the question is. You haven’t actually connected anything to the Get BuiltInParameter Name node. Please feed in a SINGLE element and not a list. It’s the same answer as above.

ps. It’s better to start a new post rather than hi-jacking an old one that was already answered.
