Apply "Part" or "Partial" view template to views

Found some dynamos to apply view templates to views- but is there a way to manipulate a view template (temporarily) to apply it to a view?

I have linked models I want to control though the V/G of the Revit Links portion of a view template.

All my other view templates will have the V/G Links category UN-checked from the include.

This would allow me to apply part of one template to an entire series of views.

Anyone else started to tackle this?

As far as I know control of V/G for linked models is not exposed in revitAPI. So basically you can’t change this.
