add family types with Dynamo to an existing and loaded family with FamilyDocument.AddParameter doesn’t work? I’ve tried different variantes. Evertime same the same results (wrong parameter input)? ChatGPT can’t help.

Hi @rwollhaupt if in project then try family document edit [BG open] from genius loci, and use to revit doucument from rhythm, then you can edit in document and use the ootb for add parameter, and remember, load and close again, genius loci have great nodes for that as well…give it a try

you mean with dynamo ootb nodes ? if so , then i dont think we have ootb for that workflow…another [as i like when on many familes, export them out , use multi player from Birdtool and load them back…

yes you could use that graf, but then you had to be in a family [edit family] document, but now you input the document and not family document, there is a ootb box for that to family document i think is called…not at dyn in the moment…ps now i read your headline again, is it a new familytype you will create or a family parameter ?
