Synchronize with central Revit file

Hi,
I am opening a workshared Revit file from a directory/folder without detaching, and setting up some parameter value and saving it. Is there any problem I am going to face as I haven’t synchronized the file before closing.

When I open the workshared file, it opens normally and the modification appears to be done all right.

Can I use this workflow with multiple workshared files?

Yes there are multiple ways to Synch with Central from the API. There are some packages out there that will help, Lightning and DynamoAutomation would be two that I can think of off hand. This could also be completed in Python.
