Studies are not creating a script in Dynamo

Hey guys, I’m all new to Dynamo so please bare with me.

Using Revit 22, when starting Workspace Layout(or any of the other studies) nothing happens in Dynamo. A script is supposed to be created in the workspace right? Or is that after I klick Generate?

Moving on, in the study dialogue I can’t select any rooms, it just says “To select elements, either use select nodes in Dynamo and re-export or launch Generative Design from Revit” (Which I can’t since I don’t have AEC Collection)

It sounds like you’re talking about Generative Design within Dynamo and not just core Dynamo. You won’t be able to use any of the Revit example studies without access to Revit. If you have access to Revit but just not Collections you’ll have to use the first suggestion and use select element nodes and resave the graph.

You’re right, I’m using Revit but don’t have access to Collections. I guess I’ll just have to learn how to use select nodes. Thanks Nick!
