I am trying to list all parts of a stair - see image

I can list stairs, runs but not supports (stringers).

I have used OOTB Categories node but no luck, I would prefer to use Element types node, but this only consists of stairs and runs but not supports (stringers).

Do you have component based stairs placed in your model?

Hi John,

Yep using component based stair to create precast stairs, depending on location in building some have stringers, some don’t.

Any more info pls let me know

Hi Revit_Techy,

I think you need to access the OST_StairsStringerCarriage BuiltInCategory to change a stringer instance parameter.

I don’t know how to do it using OOTB nodes but it works using Python.
