Have you tried the node recommended in that post? You can also just delete and recreate new pipe/duct with the correct locations. The best option may not be the typical Revit option.
yes try genius loci split node works on ducts, pipes [beams, columns, walls as well] and will insert a coupling [depends on your duct/pipe serie] doesnt work on conduit and cabletrays , here we need rerouting/rebuild
I got it almost, i stuck with lacing and list depth… it creates only one split… instead of 6

idea is i select one pipe and split it by all intersecting Building Stories.
hi here is an example with columns but the same for pipes…remember that split node expect as many element as points
