"Slotting" Lists

Hi all,

I am trying to “slot” one list into another list, so “Item 0” in “list 0” will be “Item 0” in the combined list, “item 0” in list “0” will be “item 1” in the combined list etc. I’ve attached an image to make myself more clear:

Is this possible? I’ve tried using list.sort but it doesn’t put it in the order i want.
