Seeking Dynamo Workflow for Circular Slab Reinforcement (Rings & Radials) in Revit 2025

Hello everyone,

I am trying to automate the reinforcement for a circular foundation slab in Revit 2025. The goal is to place both concentric ring rebars and radial rebars as standard Rebar elements.

I found an older Dynamo script (from 2016) that seemed to do this, but it fails on my current system, likely due to compatibility issues and changed nodes.

I would be grateful for any of the following:

• A functional Dynamo script (.dyn) or package that creates this reinforcement pattern.

• A modern example workflow or a link to an updated tutorial.

• Suggestions for modern node alternatives that could replace the older script’s functions.

a thought. it’d be helpful to get more help if you post that script here and try figuring out exactly what errors it throws.

Hi, thanks for the response! Yeah, sure, this is the script if you want to download it. I think the issue with it is simply that it’s too old to be compatible with Dynamo 3.3.0! Or maybe I am missing something here!?
