Section view on Revit

Hi!

I’ve created a solid on Dynamo and then imported it to Revit. However when I try to made a section view, this view is clearly incomplete because a lot of elementes are hidden. Did anyone knows why?

Hi Anta,

Did you happen to use the “ImportInstance.ByGeometry” node? If you did, this object in Revit technically reads it as an imported geometry, similar to importing DWGs into Revit.

There are 2 methods around this that I know of:

Import the object into a family, then upload it into a project. You will be able to section it correctly.
Import the Dynamo object by using Native Revit Families
