SampleLineByStation Node

Hi,

I was trying to use SamplelineByStation Node from Civil 3D toolkit, but cant figure out how it works. I have bellow doubt at well …

1.How to define the width of sample line using this node?
2. Is it possible to create a cogo points at intersection of sample line and feature line using dynamo? which node should i be using.

  1. This method does not set the width.
  2. you can create a CoordinateSystem by station, use the XZ plane, intersect it with the geometry of the Feature Line, use the intersecting point to create a COGO Point

I am sorry for my basic knoweledge of Dynamo but done lot search and not able to find a way to get a geometry of featureline. can you please help with that part please …

Use the CorridorFeatureLine.PolyCurve node.

@mzjensen Thanks alot for the help …i was getting some error about “unable to create line. points are likely coincidental” but changing the geometry range solved it.
