I’m looking for ideas on rotating the crop region of a callout view. There’s a Rhythm node to get the crop region, and I can rotate it, but the problem is choosing a good pivot point. These solutions don’t work in this case. Rotate crop box of multiple views - Revit - Dynamo. My idea is to create floor plans, callouts for windows (which works ) but it stops on correct rotation point in callouts.
I would use a special section marker pointing right at the window. An old firm of mine had a window elevation section marker that had view filters for the plans that were printed.
I would like to create a window schedule that shows the actual placement of windows in the building. The script takes a list of window types and then selects the first item from each type.
Why not create a legend view then? Seems that’s likely faster, more robust, and less error prone (someone could move the window and then you wouldn’t see it in the plan view anymore).
I would say legends here but guees you can do it that way also, get windows facing normal…find the degree and then rotate the created callout view…maybe, but as Jacobs point with that workflow, it will give problem when move
