Room Location Point

I am currently using the Clockwork Element.Location to find the Rooms Location Point. Is there any “native” node that does it for the Room object?

If the Location point corresponds to the centroid of the Room you could try this…

It can be, yes.

Centroid is jacked up if your room has multiple curves as well. Think donut.

You can drag the room’s reference anytime if you need to move the location point. So, the best way to get the room location point is the API.

and how did you manage to hide the point that pops on using location node?

Turn off preview for the node or turn off Revit preview entirely.
