Revit - angle walls to true north - reporting in clockwise direction

Hi everyone,

Firstly - thank you so much to all who contribute to this forum.

I want to develop a Revit script that reports the angle of all walls in relation to true north in a clockwise direction.

I have developed the attached script (downloadable via WeTransfer) using the Archi-lab and Geometry packages. This successfully measures the angle of all walls in relation to true north but not in a clockwise order. I include in the download a diagram of what I have vs. what I want for clarity.

Any ideas much appreciated!

ps: The ‘Select Model Element’ on the left hand side of the script is to select the project basepoint. I then reference the ‘angle to true north’ parameter.

This is something that needs to be implemented in schedules and i ve been asking for it since day one. I would like to try out your script but the transfer has expired. Thanks in advance.
