Revit 2023 (Dynamo 2.13) - Set Subcategory properties node not working

Hi,
I have a script which creates new reference plane subcategories and sets their properties like linepattern and colour… it is working properly when using this in revit 2021 but in 2023 the node Set Subcategory properties just doesnt do anything and is just null - the new subcatagory is created only its properties are set to deafult - so solid pattern and black colour instead of Aligning line and selected colour… any idea why this could be happening?

I have it set up exactly the same for revit 2021 and there it works like a charm with the exact same nodes…

Hi @juraj.valko7Q28C,

You need to install the DynamoIronPython2.7 package in Revit 2023 and 2024 to use packages written in Python.

To clarify - the DynamoIronPython2.7 package is needed in Revit 2023 and 2024 when the package was authored to use the Iron Python 2.7 engine. Granted this is most of the packages out there, but it’s a worth knowing as things may change again when we get into .net 6.
