Revisiting Spiral Sorting of Points

Hi All,

I was revisiting some spiral sorting of points in Dynamo and have just hit a mental roadblock.
I am sure this workflow was functioning before, but today I just cant get my head around how to proceed.

I am trying to compose a function to sort by (distance from and by angle around) at the same time…

Trying to attain some kind of curve through the points in green.

Hopefully I remember what I was doing last time, but in the interim any thoughts?

I sat down with a pen and paper last night, no dynamo, and think I may have a fix for the workflow. Will test thus morning at the office.

Glad to hear you got some incite. Pen and paper is often the best way to go.
