Request for Assistance – Dynamo Scripts Not Working

Hello,

I am writing to request your assistance regarding some Dynamo scripts that are not working properly.

Despite several attempts to review and adjust them, the scripts still fail to run correctly / do not produce the expected results. I would appreciate your support in identifying the issue and, if possible, helping to fix it.

I can provide the scripts for troubleshooting.

Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to your response.

You will more likely get assistance if:

  1. You provide a sample model the scripts are meant to work against
  2. You explain what the scripts are meant to do

Hi @u.tran , in addition to @GavinNicholls answer, it would be better to share sample files (provide a link to and host the Revit model) to test.

Thank you for your response.
I would like to create the sales plans for the housing units using Dynamo.
In principle, the plans would be generated based on each ID_lgt, using a parameter already integrated into the model.

@u.tran - please read the How to Get Help On the Dynamo Forums topic , specifically item 7 which I’ll quote here:

While the community LOVES to help people with building tools and workflows, there are too many unknowns as you’ve structured the post. Without a model anyone who wants to help has to start with a bunch of guesswork for things like [Revit release, model setup, view configuration, units, packages and coding methods available, links used, output expectations, view templates, page sizes, what is meant by "sales plans", and more]. If any one of those guesses is wrong the person who tries to help will not be able to do so.

Best to follow the advice from two of the best Dynamo and Revit users in the world, and now I as well. Post a rvt, direct from the project or a sample which mirrors your setup, or provide some inkling of a dataset for someone to attempt to build something from; without that you’re apt to be quite disappointed in whatever you get.
