Python Script editor opens but code area is blank

Hi everyone,

When I open a Python Script node, the editor panel appears on the right, but the code area is completely blank. The toolbar, engine selector, and Save and run button are visible, but no code or line numbers appear.

The selected engine is PythonNet3. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the issue.

  • Revit version: 2027.3
  • Dynamo version: 4.2.1

Has anyone experienced this? Could a package or add-in conflict cause the editor to display this way?

Yes - step 1 is to disable all Revit add-ins and Dynamo packages/extensions and see if it reproduces.
