I’ve been working to create a graph that will let me create both a profile view, design profile and a corridor from an alignment and assembly. I have just about everything working, but here’s my problem, after I create my first profile view, design profile, and corridor, I move to make my second PV, DP, and corridor (in the same file), it will create the new information and it will keep the first PV and DP, but it will erase the corridor. I do have the system set to No Binding Data Retained, which I thought would allow me to keep all of the data from my first run while creating the data in my second run. Here are the nodes that I’m using to create my corridor. Any thoughts are appreciated!
any chance you can upload the .dyn & .dwg? I can take a peek
Hi @UBDesign,
That does not sound like the correct behavior. I will dig into it and get back to you.
In the meantime, have you tried just providing lists of all the inputs you need? For example, instead of creating one corridor, changing the name, and creating a second corridor, just provide a list with both names so it creates both corridors at once.
I have been using the Choose Alignment Name node, if there is a different node that I can use to pull in all of the alignments at once, I would love to know.
I’ll post the .dyn file a little later this afternoon after I take care of a few things. Thanks!
Thank you Kovacsv, still trying to get up to speed with all of this. I’ll work that in this evening and see what my results look like.
Or if you don’t want every single alignment, you can still use the Choose Alignment Name dropdown and just mash a few of them together, like this:
Umm, just wow!! I’ll look into this. It looks like something that is a few steps above my understanding. Not that I can’t work with it, but to understand what it is actually doing and processing it is. Thanks for the information!
