I have a script written for generative design that shows a nice background preview in Dynamo.
I thought it’d be easy to get Dynamo to export the background into an image file (not manually)
but I can’t find a node for this.
Is there any way to get Dynamo to run + export background preview as an image?
The background preview is made from rectangles and surfaces that are individually coloured.

It’s a shame it shows the whole window though. Don’t suppose you know how to avoid all of that? I only want the bit inside the red square:
Yeah thats the closest i can come it…havent seen someone export watchnode out to image yet;) probably im wrong 
Although not ideal as it takes a snap of the entire window I ended up using this then cropped the images using a bulk crop tool, converted them to a gif + Mp4.
It was pretty fun I have to admit, I’m going to make another one now
